Position Overview
Baby2Baby is seeking a hard-working, mission-driven, outreach-focused intern to join our fast-paced office starting this Summer 2025 for 12 weeks for 8-12 hours/week. With a development (fundraising) focus, this intern will have the opportunity to learn from the Baby2Baby team about the day-to-day operations of the Development department. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development & Development Director, the Development Intern will gain experience assisting the Baby2Baby team with data management and clean-up, donor relations, research and special projects. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented, efficient and self-driven student who is looking to begin their career as part of a high-functioning fundraising team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Shadow the Senior Director of Development/Development Director/Development Team with daily tasks and special projects
- Fulfill essential administrative duties related to donor research, profile development and information clean-up/management
- Perform research to discover new revenue opportunities and streams
- Compile fundraising reports
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in progress
- Prior nonprofit and/or community engagement experience
- Friendly, outgoing and personable with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Access to personal transportation
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel) and the Google Apps suite
