Position Overview
Baby2Baby is seeking a hard-working, mission-driven, outreach-focused intern to join our fast-paced office starting this Fall 2024 for 8-12 weeks for 8-12 hours/week. With a development focus, this intern will have the opportunity to learn from the Baby2Baby team about the day-to-day operations of the Development department. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Development Intern will gain experience assisting the Baby2Baby team with data management, donor relations, research and special projects. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented, efficient and self-driven student who is looking to begin their career as part of a high-functioning fundraising team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Shadows the Senior Director of Development/Development Coordinator with daily tasks and special projects.
- Fulfill essential administrative duties related to donor information management
- Perform research to discover new revenue steams
- Compile fundraising reports
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in progress.
- Prior nonprofit and/or outreach experience.
- Friendly, outgoing and personable with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Access to personal transportation.
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel) and the Google Apps suite.
