Position Overview
Baby2Baby is seeking a hard-working, mission-driven, outreach-focused intern to join our fast-paced office 8-12 weeks for 8-12 hours/week. With a programmatic focus, this intern will have the opportunity to learn from the Baby2Baby team about the day-to-day operations of the Family Engagement programs. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Intern will gain experience assisting the Baby2Baby team with the organization’s expansion across the country.
The Program Intern will also learn about the Los Angeles non-profit and social service sectors, and how Baby2Baby accomplishes its mission.
This individual will spend their internship hours in person at Baby2Baby’s offices (5830 W. Jefferson Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90016). This is evolving and subject to change.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with wish list fulfillment for families participating in our family engagement program.
- Support the enrollment process for seasonal program (Family2Family) by processing registrations, maintaining enrollment records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth enrollment & distribution.
- Review monthly family feedback mini polls, compile and transfer responses to our impact library.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Child Development, Child and Family Studies, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and interact professionally with families.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace is a plus.
